Elizabeth Forward Basketball Teams Advance in WPIAL Playoffs

The Elizabeth Forward Boys and Girls Basketball Teams are on their way to the second round of the 2025 WPIAL/UPMC Sports Medicine Class 4A Basketball Championships Presented by Piada Italian Street Food.

On the Boys' side, the Warriors held off a late rally to beat Highlands, 61-56 in a home game on Friday, February 14. The 8th-seeded Warriors will hit the road to face No. 1 seed Belle Vernon at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20.

The Girls Team cruised to a 69-42 win at home over Hopewell on Monday, February 17. The 4th-seeded Warriors will hit the road on Thursday to play their second round game a neutral site, Montour High School. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. against 5th-seeded Beaver.
