Leaf the Old Outfits Behind

Everyone longs for that feeling of summer, warmth and no school! Fun and bright colors everywhere you turn. The warm wind blowing your maxi skirt around and the sun hits your face just right. You close your eyes and smell the coconut tanning oil and a smile from ear to ear appears. However, when you open your eyes the smell of pumpkin spice and the sight of falling leaves overwhelm you.

Welcome to fall everyone! Leave behind all those bright colors and replace them with the wonderful colors of fall. Yes, you guessed it; Browns, blacks, greys, reds, oranges, purples and even dark blues! Don't worry you can always add a splash of summer colors to bring out your personality.

The biggest struggle of fall is determining the correct outfit for the unpredictable weather. Once the brisk wind of fall hits, everyone breaks out their sweaters. Well, have you ever noticed by the middle of the day while you're at work or school it becomes too hot for a sweater? Don't worry there are multiple ways to be warm yet comfortable so you can have a successful and stylish day!

In the beginning of fall you can still wear your favorite skirts and dresses. Maxi dresses are quite warm even in fall; however, you might want to swap out your crop top or tank top with a nice long sleeve blouse. Although, you may feel it's not classy enough for you. Don't worry, you can always “dress yourself up” with some fashionable fake diamond earrings and a long necklace. You don't want to completely cover yourself with jewelry though; it takes away from the natural beauty of your face and persona. If you don't like maxi skirts, there are multiple kinds of other skirts. If you wish to choose a shorter skirt, as you would wear in summer, I would recommend adding a pair of tights. If you have a plain color skirt and shirt, you can always add a splash of color with your tights. If you're a very cold person, thin leggings work as well! I would recommend leggings from Lula Roe; they have very colorful and fun patterns. The same fashion advice is also helpful when you're torn between those old jeans or a beautiful stylish dress. Just add tights!

Overall, have fun experimenting with different looks and always be your own stylish self!
