Anthony J. Popowitz, Ed.D., is currently an assistant principal in the Elizabeth Forward Middle School in the Elizabeth Forward School District. Prior to this, he taught high school social studies in Washington County, Maryland. He has been a principal and assistant principal in the Baltimore County Public Schools. He then returned home to the high school which he attended to serve as an assistant principal at McKeesport Area School District at both the high school and middle school levels. Dr. Popowitz earned his doctorate in educational leadership from Point Park University; Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from California University of Pennsylvania; Master’s in Education from Frostburg State University; and a Bachelor’s of Art in Philosophy from St. Vincent College.
