At Greenock and Mount Vernon we grow creativity! In Kindergarten through 2^nd Grade, children plant and care for our vegetable and herb garden, carefully using photos on iPad to capture growth and gardening processes. At harvesting time, they head to the Kids Kitchen where teachers create Pages documents to share step by step recipes. Students learn how to discover ways to record their delicious experiences with the iPad camera, iMovie and GarageBand.  At this time, they are also learning coding basics and discovering how to build tools and structures to complete tasks.

At Mount Vernon, students growth continues in the Kindness Garden, where students continue to use iPad photos for sharing their experience. Creativity takes a major leap at Mount Vernon as students synthesize their years of primary discovery with coding and structure building by creating and participating in exciting competitions with drones, Vex robotics, and more.
