Visual Vocabulary with Clips

  • One of the favorite Apple applications of William Penn teachers and students is Clips! Teachers use Clips to inspire their students to tell stories with engaging images, stickers, and more! Students can record Live Titles to caption their videos and apply stickers, labels, and posters to illustrate science projects, math problems, etc! One of the most popular ways that William Penn Elementary students create with Clips is through visual vocabulary projects. Students at all grade levels use Clips to demonstrate their learning of key vocabulary terms by creating Clips projects. Students can record images that represent the vocabulary term or even record themselves "bringing the vocabulary words to life"!

Teachers have utilized Clips to create as well. Below is one example of a Clips Project created by several William Penn teachers for their PBIS initiative.
