    Cell Brochure and Disease Presentation Projects

  • Cell Brochures - With the use of Apple Pages and district issued iPad devices, 9th grade biology students creatively designed “travel” brochures to illustrate the functions of both plant and animal cells through analogies between student selected “themes” and cell organelles. Students included photos and images, text and colors, and ultimately printed their brochures to share with their classmates.

  • Diseases and Public Health Issues Keynote - Following their research of specific diseases that affect public health issues, students used Apple Keynote and district issued iPad devices to design engaging and informative presentations while incorporating text, photos, videos, and other forms of media.
