This course provides students with a look into the art of theatre. The course will center around the high school’s spring musical. Class work will include set design, painting, prop preparation, choreography, vocal and music preparation and a look into special effects. Participants learn basic acting techniques and will perform monologues and scenes. Musical critiques will also be written in class as well as other analytical papers focusing on theatre.
