Arts and Bots STEAM club in which members learn how to create and program robots. Club members spend several weeks creating a structure out of recycled materials. Then, they bring their creations to life by adding robotic elements such as LED lights, sensors, and motors. They become familiar with software designed by Carnegie Mellon University called Create Lab Visual Programmer. At the conclusion of the club, family and friends are invited to the middle school to see their students’ finished robot.
