Mr. Bryan Wieclaw, fifth grade teacher at William Penn School, was recognized by the School Board for saving a child’s life who was choking in his classroom.  His knowledge of the Heimlich maneuver helped Bryan to dislodge a marshmallow from the child’s throat. It was a scary few moments for everyone involved, and Bryan handled it like the professional he is.
