Cowboy Program

On March 26th William Penn Students were treated to an amazing performance called “Rhinestone Ropers”, brought to the school by the William Penn PTA. The father and son team showed off their award winning skills with the lasso and bull rope.

While Dan and Cody (only 11 years old) showed off their amazing skills, they also emphasized the importance of being motivated, practicing whatever you want to achieve and perseverance. (or a don’t give up attitude) Students were also introduced to the life of a cowboy and some of the musical instruments that they used on the trail.

Students raved about the performance for days! If you haven’t heard about it from your child – ask them – they are sure to tell you what an awesome performance it was.
