Thursday, March 11: Mechanics of Language: Adjectives quiz (adjectives that compare, spelling adjectives that compare, comparing with more and most, comparing with good and bad, combining sentences, and letter punctuation)

!! Important Reading Project Update !!
Students are no longer permitted to complete a reading project on Twilight, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, or a chapter book that is based on a movie or TV show unless they receive approval from a fourth grade teacher. Without approval, projects completed on these books will not be accepted. If a student is not sure what is acceptable, they are to ask a fourth grade teacher if it is acceptable. Materials Needed:
* Kleenexes and clorox wipes needed! Please send in these items for the cold and flu season. Thank you!

Fourth Grade Students ExcelFourth graders from the 2008-2009 school year read a combined total of 134,102 minutes in 7 months. The current fourth graders read a combined total of 68,188 minutes in October, November, and December. CHALLENGE: Can the current fourth graders read more than last year's group???? (They are well on their way!)
