Hello!  Welcome to our classroom website.  I extend a special welcome to the families who are new to Mt. Vernon.  I am so excited to begin this school year with all of our big changes and look forward to the wonderful community that will be created by this 3, 4, 5 building.     

As I have for the past few years, I will be teaching math and spelling to all of the fourth graders.  Mrs. Cardiff will be teaching science and language.  And, Mrs. Guzewicz will be teaching social studies and reading.  Having a three-man-team will be so fun for both the teachers and the students.



Purpose

The purpose of this website is to help connect our classroom to your home and the real world.  Not only will parents be able to keep informed about the goings on in our room, but students will also be able to use this site as a valuable and necessary resource for information and activities.  Even though this website will be mostly dedicated to Math and Spelling and will be used by ALL of the 4th graders at Mt. Vernon, there are some features that are for my homeroom students. We will have a weekly math challenge question, a blog, spelling list access, homework listings, picture slideshows and much much more.  Please use it everyday.
