Our school just celebrated the 100th day of school! It's a special date on the calendar because that means there's only about 80 days to go. The first and second grade participated in a special activity in the MPR room dealing with the number 100. Students each had a number, from 1 through 100 individually, and set out on a task. They had to line themselves up in correct order in a 10x10 block on the gymnasium floor. Students tapped into their prior knowledge of numbers to arrange themselves in numerical order, 10 students by 10 students. Great job!
